Application Engineer Position(Direct Hire)—US Green Card or US Citizen

Automotive Supplier

Location: Livonia MI

Language: Native English/Korean Bilingual

Requirement: 2~5 Years Automotive Experience at Tier 1(Corresponding Ford, GM, FCA etc.)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic

Major: Mechanical / Electrical / Electronical

Job Descriptions :

·         Responsible for coordinating and monitoring of all stages of projects, including the process design and development cycle at the manufacturing location for all North America operations.

·         Identify process solutions necessary to meet the engineering, manufacturing, quality, timing and financial requirements.

·         Work directly with customers’ program management, manufacturing facilities and pre-production build events.

·         Review design requirements and engineering specifications for product development, and knowledge in design and product verification testing requirements.

·         Manage CAD math data and drawing changes with customer’s data management system (ex. FORD-Team center etc.)

·         Conduct weekly open issue meetings with quality team, marketing team, and R&D in headquarters in Korea.

·         Conduct weekly open issue / work list meetings with customer (FORD)

·         Manage packaging requirements and specifications and monitor logistics with warehouse in Michigan.

·         Track project/program lessons learned and manage best practices.

·         Proactively identify & resolve risks & issues and establish escalation path on all projects.

·         Immediately follow-up to any reported quality issues, and manage analysis of root cause and complete 8D reports to customers.
