Job Title: HMI Multimedia Engineer

Department: Multimedia

Reports To (Title): Senior Manager

Facility: Farmington Hills

T Full Time p Part Time p Temporary

Purpose:

Seeking individual to contribute to the development of multimedia/telematics and emerging technology HMI system. Must have excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to work with customers effectively.

Responsibilities:

· Responsibilities will include conducting advanced market trend study, customer

clinics, bench marking competitive system.

· Work with oversea main office HMI team to provide North American market unique HMI values and philosophy

· Develop and create HMI functional specification

· Participate in design review

· Develop prototyping

· Usability Testing for design validation

Education / Skill / Experience Requirements:

· Automotive HMI design and usability engineering experience

· Formal training in interactive design and human factors discipline

· Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Familiar with AAMS guideline on drivers distraction while driving discipline
